Accessing New HS Common Core Standards for Students on GAA
Because it is very difficult for students with significant cognitive disabilities to access the new common core high school math standards in a functional, meaningful way, the Georgia DOE has provided examples on the Electronic Resource Board provided for teachers of students on the alternative assessment. This chart shows some of the standards addressed on the resource board, which is accessible to all special education teachers in Georgia. (If you are a GAA teacher in Georgia and NOT making good use of the resource, you are working too hard. Information can be found at https://www.georgiastandards.org/standards/pages/BrowseStandards/GPS-Impairment.aspx
This word document lists the standards that had examples on Electronic Resource Board as of 10/7/14. New ones are being added so check back. /uploads/2/6/1/8/26181266/new_common_core_high_school_math_standards.docx |
